favors, the champagne flutes on the tables at our reception, came from
Susquehanna Glass in Columbia, PA.
Located near the majestic Susquehanna River, Susquehanna Glass is a great little shop, stocked with an impressive selection of the most amazing crystal and glass vases, mugs, dishes and more. If you click on their logo to the left, you will be taken to their website where you can get more info and even shop online!
So, we wanted you to walk away from our wedding with not only a nice reminder of our special day, but also a little piece of the Susquehanna Valley... and since we figured that you probably wouldn't have the chance to make it out to Susquehanna Glass, we did the shopping for you!
You may notice that your favors didn't have our names or the date on them... we did that on purpose because we truly hope that you don't just stick them on a shelf somewhere, but that you'll actually use them again, in the months and years after our wedding. From what we've heard so far, that is actually the case... a couple of guests bought a bottle of champagne to drink from the flutes that they read about here, after the wedding at the hotel! Others have simply used them since, when the opportunity presented itself.
Finally, they were also adorned with hand-made Claddagh wine charms to remind you of us... because, just like our wedding bands, it's tradition that the Claddagh be given to you by a friend or loved one!
