We
can't say enough about Tim Carr. He has been so helpful with our wedding,
and it was a privilege to treat you to a meal prepared by him. In case
you missed it, he was the chef carving the beef on the night of our wedding.
Yes, Tim Carr, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, former
chef at Le Bec-Fin, Philadelphia's premier eatery, and the owner
and head chef at Carr's Restaurant, actually took the time to serve us.
Granted, it is his name on the restaurant, but he does
have other chef's working for him that he could have sent in his place.
We think this says something about him, and as such, says something about
the quality of the food you can expect from his restaurant.
We also wanted to mention
how happy we were with Wes, Kate and the entire staff that helped to make
our day perfect. They are true professionals of the highest caliber, and
can't say enough about how pleased we were with the job they did for us.
And by the way, we found out after the fact that our awesome bartender,
Chris, is Chef Carr's son!
So,
if you're looking for a place to have a snack, a meal, or simply a cocktail,
Carr's is situated right next to Lancaster's Historic Central Market,
at West Grant and North Market Streets. We highly recommend The Sunday
Brunch. Carr's Restaurant at 50 West Grant Street, also offers delicious
Sushi, cold Martinis and they have a stellar wine list.
